The certificate in Business Technology Program seeks to prepare students for effective participation in the business world. It will develop business technicians with capability to cope with the challenges facing small businesses, by leveraging on open source software (where available) and/or cheap software and infrastructure sharing platforms. The programme aims to develop new set of entrepreneurs that would be able to recommend, train and guide small businesses on the appropriate tools and technology stack for effective and efficient operations. Irrespective of the primary field of study, this programme will help employees to achieve their career objective by displaying skills that render them indispensable in their respective organisations.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Clerical and Executive officers engaged in office duties and routines as well as those not in management science field of studies. Non-clerical staff that have attained SSCE and now hope to join the clerical staff cadre. Self-employed and young entrepreneurs.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
5 O’L Credit passes in not more than two sittings with at least a Pass in English Language. Basic computer skills (opening files, folders, and applications, copying and pasting); Access to personal or home computer for practice. Experienced/matured candidates that demonstrate sufficient background knowledge by passing entrance examination and interview may also be considered for admission.
DURATION
Two Semesters of Two Months per Semester.

SCORING AND GRADING SYSTEM
The marks obtained shall be converted into letter grades and transformed to grade points as follows:-
